OUR CLAN'S MISSION & STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
OUR CLAN'S MISSION:
To promote congruity within the community while honoring tradition with community affairs & advocating the safety and well-being of our members.
Clan Hróðvitnirbur is available to the newly awakened & encourages self-awareness and responsibility. We emphasize the importance of education and the strength of involvement for all. By taking an active role we will serve not only ourselves, but also our community, and our city. We accept members from all over the world. Clan Hróðvitnirbur welcomes everyone to contribute to the collective knowledge of our community, offering an open hand to those who in the past have chosen to remain solitary in the community. We support each member’s journey down a path of spiritual and intellectual growth that is appropriate for them.
Clan Hróðvitnirbur promotes itself as a neutral organization within the vampire, therian, otherkin & pagan communities. We are not directly affiliated with any other court, order, or council. We respect others who choose not to institute such a caste system or none at all, yet we remain steadfast in our chosen structure, allowing us to freely encourage camaraderie and proactive involvement within the vampire community. Our policies regarding those we do accept and the maturity of our applicants are taken very seriously.
Clan Hróðvitnirbur’s primary focus is expanding the educational boundaries of our own community while improving knowledge of the vampiric condition therianthropy, & otherkinship among the mundane population. Our members and associates have decades of involvement in & study of all paths with the communities. It is from this collective that we draw our strength in the fields of the occult, paranormal, para-psychological, phenomenological, psionics, and general underground community research.
All who share a sincere interest in our vision and community-hosted events are encouraged to participate. We extend an open hand to those of all houses, orders, or paths who visit our collective; as we share a common vision of productive growth & organization within the community.
OUR STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
The clan was formed by Ásmund Stórúlfur Hróðvitnirbur to provide a blanket family for each charter that branches from the core, to make such havens available wherever possible to educate, train, and provide safety to its members.
To establish and maintain a local/national communication, information, and support network for all vampires, therian, otherkin, and mundane donors while increasing communication and understanding among vampires & otherkin as well as working toward unification and cohesiveness within the community.
Within the larger vampiric community, we seek to provide education, increasing understanding and communication between the community and the mundane world.
To guide newly awakened vampires, therians, and otherkin in a positive manner, and to inform people about false hopes and ideals of what we are. In this way, we keep them from entertaining these false notions so that they do not desire to become one, based on these falsehoods.
To facilitate the destruction of stereotypes, misconceptions, and media misrepresentations; and to provide, through the strategic dissemination of information, publications, etc., a foundation for the acceptance and tolerance of vampires, therians, & otherkin.
To support, encourage, and aid individuals in their desires or efforts to disseminate factual information by providing resources both beneficial and relevant to the vampiric community.
To establish and maintain a standard and acceptable code of ethics and conduct within the community; and to regulate the reasonable enforcement of this code, when necessary.
